About Me

I understand that reaching out for help is a big step, especially when dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, and overwhelming life challenges. Are you feeling like you are barely holding it together? Overwhelmed, sad, nervous, or lost? You’re not alone—many people experience these feelings, and seeking therapy is a courageous first step. Have you been struggling to cope with difficult emotions, past trauma, or major life transitions? I believe we all seek connection, healing, and emotional well-being, so my approach to therapy is compassionate, relational, and grounded in full acceptance of all the various parts that make you, you. I understand that the path to mental health and healing is not linear, and I am dedicated to being a non-judgmental therapist who supports my clients in their journey. My goal is to help you develop resilience, build self-confidence, and navigate life’s challenges with greater ease.

My name is Samantha Corona, and I am a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW 93601) in California. I have been providing therapy and counseling to children, teens, and adults for over 12 years. My focus is to help individuals overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. I also work with families, parents, and caregivers to improve communication and strengthen relationships. Additionally, I support families whose children are at-risk or have been identified as CSEC (Commercially Sexually Exploited Children).

I was born in Northern California and earned my B.S. in Social Work from San Francisco State University. I continued my education at Sacramento State University, specializing in behavioral health, and completed my Master’s in Social Work (MSW). Throughout my career, I have worked closely with individuals experiencing trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief, and stress management, as well as those navigating recent life changes, career transitions, or family struggles. I have also supported individuals involved in the foster care system (CPS), juvenile justice system, and victims of crime.

As a first-generation Latina and full-time working mom, I understand the unique challenges that individuals and families face. From a young age, I have been deeply aware of mental health struggles, generational trauma, and cultural stressors that impact people’s lives. This awareness ignited my passion to help others find hope, empowerment, and emotional balance through therapy. If you’re looking for a compassionate therapist who speaks English and Spanish, I am here to support you on your healing journey.
